The Department of Applied Linguistics at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), within the framework of the Master’s Degree in Languages and Technology (MULT), is organizing the Symposion in Research on Languages and Technology, a forum for discussion, reflection, and exchange devoted to exploring new forms of technology-mediated language teaching, learning, and linguistic research.
The symposium will take place on Thursday, 26 November 2026, at the Department of Applied Linguistics of the Universitat Politècnica de València, in the Assembly Hall on the third floor of Building 4P.
This edition of the symposium focuses on Virtual Exchanges in the Language Classroom, an approach that connects students, teachers, and institutions from different countries through digital tools to foster collaborative, intercultural, and language-learning experiences.
The symposium aims to bring together teachers, researchers, students, and professionals interested in the potential of virtual exchanges to enhance language learning, intercultural communication, and international collaboration.

El Departamento de Lingüística Aplicada de la Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), en el marco del Máster Universitario en Lenguas y Tecnología (MULT), organiza la Jornada de Investigación en Lenguas y Tecnología, un espacio de encuentro, reflexión e intercambio dedicado a analizar las nuevas formas de enseñanza, aprendizaje e investigación lingüística mediadas por la tecnología.
La jornada se celebrará el jueves, 26 de noviembre de 2026, en el Departamento de Lingüística Aplicada de la Universitat Politècnica de València, en el salón de actos del Edificio 4P, tercera planta.
Esta jornada está dedicada a los Intercambios Virtuales en el Aula de Idiomas, una metodología que permite conectar a estudiantes, docentes e instituciones de diferentes países mediante herramientas digitales para desarrollar experiencias de aprendizaje colaborativo, intercultural y lingüístico.
La jornada pretende reunir a docentes, investigadores, estudiantes y profesionales interesados en el potencial de los intercambios virtuales para favorecer el aprendizaje de lenguas, la comunicación intercultural y la colaboración internacional.
